when is the best time to do maternity photos?
The best time to do maternity photographs is between 32-26 weeks gestation. We do on-location photography within the greater Orlando area and will to travel to a session with an additional travel fee. We do provide a small selection of maternity gowns for you to use for photographs.
What happens if you are not available the day of my birth?
We take pride in making sure we have appropriate backup available for your birthing window. We go on-call for your birth from 37-42 weeks gestation. If you go into labor prior to the on-call period we will do our absolute best to still attend your birth. We work as a team so you have the comfort and guarantee that someone will be available.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the current workload during your birthing time). You can download all the photos from the gallery, share them, choose your favorites, and order prints!
what happens if you cant go into the hospital due to Covid-19?
Doulas are currently allowed into the Advent Health hospital in Orlando. All of our birth photographers are also doulas so they will be able to gain access with their doula credentials. If for some reason these rules change we will offer additional photographer sessions or additional postpartum doula support hours. For birth photography we are only collecting the $200 deposit initially and then the remainder of the fee is due at 37 weeks. Typically by this time we will be able to know if the guidelines and rules have changed.
