What Is a Birth Doula?


A birth doula is a trained professional who provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. We help families feel informed, supported, and confident as they navigate one of life's most meaningful experiences.

We work alongside midwives, OB-GYNs, nurses, and other maternity care providers to complement your care. Whether you're planning a hospital, birth center, or home birth, our goal is to help you feel empowered, respected, and supported every step of the way. Placenta Encapsulation


Placenta encapsulation is provided by a trained member of our team. After birth, your placenta is carefully prepared, dehydrated, and ground into a fine powder before being placed into easy-to-take vegan capsules.


While research on placenta encapsulation is limited and benefits are not scientifically established, some women report positive postpartum experiences, including improved mood, increased energy, and support during recovery. Placenta capsules contain iron and naturally occurring hormones, and some mothers report they may support emotional well-being and postpartum recovery.
